What is Blox League?

Blox League is a free car soccer game on Roblox: two teams of rocket-powered cars chase a giant football, trying to score in the opposing goal — the same basic pitch as Rocket League, but built inside Roblox and playable on phones, consoles and PCs for free. It was created by the Roblox group blox league gaming and launched on 24 September 2026. The official description sums the pitch up in three words: “Car Soccer”.

If you searched for it after seeing clips on TikTok or YouTube, that is the whole idea — football, but you are the car.

Who made Blox League?

The game is developed by the Roblox group blox league gaming, whose owner goes by the username bloxleagueholder. The group passed 5,000 members within its first week and holds Roblox community tier 3. Neither the group nor its owner carries Roblox’s verified badge, so don’t rely on lookalike groups — the game page linked at the bottom of this article is the one we verified.

Because the developer is a group rather than a verified studio, treat unofficial “Blox League” apps, websites and Discord servers with extra care. Official information lives on the game’s Roblox page.

What can you do in the game?

Everything in the official feature list, checked on 2 October 2026:

• Ranked and casual matches in 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 formats
• Trading — swap cosmetics with other players
• Car customization — personalise your car’s look
• Coming soon (announced, not live): a seasonal pass, level up drops and more cosmetics
• Roblox Plus/Premium perk: subscribers earn 1.5x XP from every match

Match servers hold up to 10 players, which fits the small-sided formats. Details like rank tiers, maps and item values are not officially documented yet — check those in game.

How popular is it?

It is one of the fastest-growing Roblox launches of late 2026. When we checked on 2 October 2026, the official Roblox API reported:

How much does it cost?

Nothing. Blox League is a standard free Roblox experience — you need a Roblox account and nothing else. The listed Premium perk (1.5x XP) is optional; every mode is playable without spending anything. Its economy runs on cosmetics you can customise and trade, and the announced seasonal pass may add its own track later — that part is not live yet as of our last check.

Is Blox League the same as Rocket League?

No — it is inspired by Rocket League, not made by the same studio. Psyonix’s Rocket League is a standalone game on Steam and consoles; Blox League is a Roblox experience with its own cars, economy and trading. If you want the idea of Rocket League in a free, browser-and-phone-friendly package with a Roblox social layer, Blox League is the closest official way to get it on that platform.
